Mesan’s 112 series modular latching system is designed for insulated double-skinned doors on HVAC units ensuring safety and security while maintaining a seal to reduce energy loss. The 112 series is heavy-duty – suited for double-walled doors in the 20-70 lb range – where latching, hinging and gasketing are all critical to ensuring integrity with the panel frame.
The durable and ergonomic design provides long operating life and ease of use. Large Handles provide generous accomodation and an easy grab for gloved hands.
All handles feature polyurethane sealing foam to provide IP66 / Nema 4X ratings. Interior safety handles are offered to allow door-opening from inside of the unit.
Installation is simple with one mounting screw, and fewer holes provide better sealing and lower energy loss.
Roller cams support the latching units while reducing friction, adding proper compression on the gasket, and providing smooth door closing. Nylon roller cams prevent scratching the panel frame. Fixed and adjustable roller cams are suitable for use with inswing and outswing handles. The adjustable roller cam sets the desired compression setting.
Multi-point latching systems are available to gang multiple units to each other to providing one solid simplified access point for larger doors.
